X-plorers Club is a series of two-hour art workshops for children eight and older that usually occurs on the third Sunday of every month. The workshops are open to the public and free with Museum admission. Each workshop features objects from the Museum’s collection of 27,000 cultural and natural history objects. The objects are introduced, often through storytelling. Following object observation, participants undertake an art project based on what they have seen. An experienced artist is there to assist them with their project. Photos of the finished work may be included in the gallery section of this web page. X-plorers Club is a project of Collections Central, a gallery of rotating exhibits and related programs at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.
